How to Learn CorelDRAW Online

CorelDraw has an array of tools and functions that allow the graphic artist to complete almost any graphics task. But with all those capabilities comes a measure of complexity. Learning CorelDraw can be a bit of a challenge, so make sure you have plenty of resources to rely on.

Instructions

1. Download the free trial of the CorelDraw Graphics Suite. This will give you the chance to practice with a fully functional copy of the program for 15 days before you invest in it.

2. Join online groups and forums like the Association of CorelDraw Professionals and CDUG (a Yahoo CorelDraw group), and visit CorelDraw.com (see Resources) to ask experienced professinals any questions you might have about how CorelDraw works.

3. Study the large number of free CorelDraw tutorials available at sites like Pixel2life, Sketchpad and the CorelDraw site. Watch video tutorials on YouTube, since it is always easier to follow a tutorial where you can actually see the action being described.

4. Sign up for online classes at sites like Lynda.com or Lifetime to Learn, if you are willing to pay for professional-level instruction. Some of these can be fairly expensive, but you will get hours of detailed instruction from experts.
