Verizon, like most other cell phone providers, allows users to personalize their mobile experience by adding ringtones to their phone. While Verizon lets users purchase ringtones online for a small fee, many users are not happy with the limited song choices or paying for tones. These users can use the popular ringtone uploading website, Myxer.com, which allows cell phone owners to pick a song from their computer and convert it to a ringtone for their Verizon phone.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Navigate to the Myxer homepage, and click "Ringtones" on the right-side menu.

  2. Step 2

Use the "Browse" tab on the right side of the page to select a song saved to your computer's library and click "Open" and then click the green "Upload" tab.

  3. Step 3

Select the portion of the song you would like to use by entering the starting and ending time and click "Continue."

  4. Step 4

Copy down the URL provided and access it with your phone to download the song, or choose to have the link sent to your phone by entering your wireless number.
