First decide on a place, maybe someone's home. Choose an easy dish to cook. Such as, spaghetti. With spaghetti you can have regular noodles and gluten free noodles to the side in separate bowls. Put the spaghetti sauce in different bowls as well. Have a vegetable spaghetti sauce and regular spaghetti meat sauce. This is to accommodate those who can not eat certain foods. Then fix a toss salad and garlic bread. Have tea or water to drink.

Open an account for the person or organization that will be receiving the funds. Name the account to whom it will be directed to such as Nikki Johnson Medical Fund or Hope For At-Risk Teens Fund. Have checks made payable to the name on the account. Now come up with a price for the amount that you are asking each person to bring, such as $25.00 dollars. If they can not make the function give them a mailing address to mail their donation. Make sure you let them know if they can not give 25.00 to give what is upon their heart. If there is a bar, you can raise more money charging for wine or drinks.

The next step is to do an evite invitation for all of your internet fans out there. Go to evite.com and set up an account. Create your fundraising event on evite. Email the invitation to everyone you know who has an email address. Then for those people who do not use the internet, create invitations to mail to their mailing address.

Create a free webpage, you can go to blogspot.com and make a free webpage. On this webpage you will discuss the purpose of this fundraiser. Have pictures as well. Then you will go to paypal and create an account, click on merchant services and choose the donate paypal button. This is so people can donate to the cause on the internet as well.
