Make a Valentine's Day collage. A collage is a collection of images that create one uniform piece of artwork. Hang six cork-board tiles on one wall. Staple a thick red-paper border around the edges of the tiles so they form one uniform surface. Cut out pictures of items that remind people of Valentine's Day, such as hearts and flowers from magazines. Actual flowers can be used as well. Staple the items to the pieces of cork board.

Create a Valentine's Day centerpiece. Wrap a bowl in silver paper so that the entire bowl is covered and the edges of the paper stick out. Aluminum foil can work but thinner paper is better. Tie the paper to the bowl with red ribbons and a red bow. Cut out five red hearts from cardboard. Cut out five pink hearts from cardboard. Tape the bottom of each heart to a long straw. Place the straws in the wrapped bowl. Place a large red rose in the center.

Place red and pink rose petals on surfaces. Roses are one of the traditional symbols of Valentine's Day. Scatter rose petals on the edge of the dance floor. Use lots of petals so they can be seen under harsh nighttime lighting. Place them on tables and chairs as well.
