Sirius XM radio in an automobile provides clear radio sound without the interruption of lost signals or changing stations as you move from city to city. Whether your car came with Sirius already installed or you've inserted an XM-capable device into your car, adding and changing Sirius radio features is a simple process.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set up or establish your personal account information. Navigate to the Sirius website and click "my account" on the top menu. Click "set up new account" on the page that appears. Follow the instructions to enter your personal and account information, using the information you gave when you signed up for your Sirius subscription.

  2. Step 2

Change account or subscription details online. Visit the Sirius website and sign in by clicking on "my account" on the top menu and entering your username and password. Following sign-in, options include radio, user, address, gift card, subscription, payment and activation setup. Review instructions on the page to select the change you wish to make for your account. Follow the prompts to make your changes in the appropriate category by selecting "save" after you've selected your new preferences or updated your personal information. Note that your changes will be in effect after saving, unless a delay is otherwise specified on the page.

  3. Step 3

Make changes to your Sirius radio over the phone by calling the appropriate number listed on the "contact us" link in References. Have your personal information ready so that your account and subscription can be located by the representative. Ask a representative to make your changes and confirm that your request has been processed.
