How to Configure a Sonicwall TZ180

Since it was founded in 1991, SonicWALL, Inc. has been developing and manufacturing products with the focus on network security. Its TZ line of Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances provides security solutions for small to medium businesses that require Internet access. The SonicWALL TZ 180 has a Web-based configuration Setup Wizard that steps you through the configuration process.

  • Configuration information from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch your Web browser, and then type 192.168.168.168 into the address field. Hit "Enter."

    • 2

      Select a language, and then click "Next."

    • 3

      Follow the prompts in the Setup Wizard as it steps you through inputting the appropriate values from your ISP to configure your Internet connection.

    • 4

      Reboot the router after the Setup Wizard is completed.
