How to Configure SonicWALL TZ 210

SonicWALL has been developing and manufacturing products with a focus on network security since 1991. SonicWALL's TZ line of Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances provide Internet security solutions for small to midsized businesses. The SonicWALL TZ 210 has a web-based configuration setup wizard that walks you through the configuration process.

  • Configuration values from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch your web browser and type 192.168.168.168 in the address field.

    • 2

      Follow the prompts in the setup wizard to input configuration values and settings from your ISP and for your network. Change the values for the settings that your ISP gave you and leave the rest at default. For your network settings, if no changes are made to the default values for your network, then the default values will likely work in the router configuration.

    • 3

      Record the information displayed in the SonicWALL Configuration Summary at the completion of the setup wizard.

    • 4

      Reboot the TZ 210 for changes to take effect.
