Buying a used computer can be nerve-racking. You never know exactly what you are getting. By purchasing an Apple laptop through Apple's online store, you never have to worry again. All refurbished (used) laptops are tested and certified by Apple and come with a one-year warranty. Browse the listing of used laptops and select the one that best suits your needs. Apple even includes free shipping on orders over $50.

    Open a Web browser and navigate to store.apple.com

  2. Step 2

    Click "Refurbished Mac" under Special Deals in the left pane.

  3. Step 3

    Browse through the listings of laptops. Click "Select" to view product descriptions and specs.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Add to Cart" to purchase the laptop and click "Check Out Now." Sign in to an existing Apple account or sign up for a new one. Complete billing and shipping information. Verify order and submit.
