Make buffalo chicken with simple ingredients and simple instructions!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • chicken breasts (3, thawed)
  • black pepper
  • turkey rub
  • Louisiana hot sauce
  • sliced swiss cheese
  1. Step 1

Turn (gas) grill on medium-high heat and let warm while preparing chicken

  2. Step 2

Under warm water, wash chicken breasts separately and set onto a clean plate

  3. Step 3

Generously coat each side of chicken breasts with black pepper and turkey rub (you may substitute turkey rub for other spices of your choice such as cavenders, salt and pepper, etc)

  4. Step 4

Smother the chicken in Louisiana hot sauce on both sides of chicken breasts

  5. Step 5

Place the chicken breasts on heated grill and cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-15 minutes on the opposite side (the chicken will be done when juices flow clear).

  6. Step 6

After grilling, place the cooked chicken on a clean plate and turn the grill off. Add a slice of swiss cheese, garnish with more hot sauce if desired, eat and enjoy! Grilled buffalo chicken is paired with fried yellow squash (look for this eHow article/recipe also by MsCassie)

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use any type of cheese for this recipe: swiss, mozzarella, provolone, etc
  • Also makes for a tasty sandwich!
  • Feel free to experiment with different spices!
  • Thoroughly wash your chicken to avoid Salmonella
  • If unsure if chicken is done cooking, cut in the middle to check for any pink - if so continue coooking. Inside of chicken should be white.
