How to Burn Music CDs on Windows XP

Windows XP includes Windows Media Player to organize your music. Media Player features custom playlist creation and CD burning capabilities. The CDs created in Windows Media Player are compatible with most CD and DVD players. It is best to use a CD-R to create your music CDs since CD-RWs may not be compatible with all CD playing devices. Using Media Player's burning capabilities is a great way to create a personal play list or to burn special songs for a party.
