  • 1 pound of course ground sirloin beef
  • 2 cans of light red kidney beans
  • 2 cans of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 1 white onion chopped into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic
  • 3 Jalapenos
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
  1. Step 1

    Begin this meal by cooking your sirloin beef thoroughly in your large skillet until there is no pink. Once your meat is cooked, drain it and pour it into your crock pot.

    Open your cans of light red kidney beans and pour directly into crock pot.

  2. Step 2

    Now is the time to wash your vegetables. Once they are clean take out your sharp knife and cutting board. Since you are going to be cutting jalapenos you might want to invest in some rubber gloves to protect your hand when you do.

    Dice your vegetables and drop them into your crock pot with the setting on low.

    In this step you may now add your tomatoes paste and your seasonings. Then stir in the appropriate amount of water and your butter to make the sauce richer and cover with your lid.

Tips & Warnings
  • This meal goes great with crackers or cornbread.
  • If you don't like your food very spicy you can reduce the amount of pepper flakes and reduce the number of peppers as well.
  • This dish is not recommended for people who can have very spicy food.
