Web site content allows you to become an expert in a certain topic as you build your online business. The more quality content you have on one topic the more credible you will appear. If you are feeling burnt out or too busy you might not want to update your site, add articles or build new sites. Here is how to come up with web site content when you just don't feel like you have anything else to offer.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep on topic. When looking for web solutions it's easy to grasp at the first idea that comes to mind. Remember to keep your content in the same niche so your website will appear authoritative. This ensures that you will draw traffic that is looking for information in a specific area. Go offline to get ideas, read through journals, magazines and watch the news to see how your niche is affecting the rest of the world and then generate content around the solution or further explain the problem.

  2. Step 2

Focus on keywords. Keyword tools can help you when you're stuck for website content. These tools generate a list of popular searches. You may find keywords in your niche that you haven't thought of before that can be used to inspire new articles and ides. Keep a document full of the new keywords so you're never stuck for web site content again.

  3. Step 3

Pay for it. If you just don’t have time pay writers to do the work for you. Many writers are trained in search engine optimization and can do research on a wide variety of topics. Go through a reputable writing company or ask around on work at home boards for good writers. Be prepared to pay through Paypal and run all of the content you buy through a plagiarism checker.

  4. Step 4

Invite guest bloggers. The easiest way to get content for a web site is to have someone else do it. If you have a popular blog, guest bloggers may be interested in putting up a few posts in order to get the word out about their own blog. Set quality guidelines and provide them with a back link so you are both satisfied with the experience. This will give you a few days to get back on track until you feel up to doing your own web site content writing again.

  5. Step 5

Participate in a blog carnival. This is an easy way to get web site traffic and ideas while fighting writer’s block. Each carnival already has a niche and topic laid out for it. You just have to stick to the topic or answer the question that is being asked. You'll get a link for your time, and other carnival visitors will stop by your blog.
