If you want to get a library card at the Corona Public Library always make sure you come prepared so you can start checking out those awesome library materials right away!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Application
  • ID with current address
  • Or bring mail with your current address along with your ID
  • If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian
  1. Step 1

    If you're looking to get a card from the Corona Public Library you will need to complete an application which you can either download from http://coronapubliclibrary.org/ or go to the library and fill one out.

  2. Step 2

    You will need to bring a government issued ID with you for example, a California driver's license, a California ID, military ID or passport.

  3. Step 3

    If the address where you do not currently reside is not listed on your ID you will need to supply a piece of mail, like a bill that has your name and current address on it. You can also you use a car registration or a check book if your current address is on it.

  4. Step 4

    If you are under 18, you must bring a parent or legal guardian with the above information and both of you must be present to get the library card.

  5. Step 5

    If you have an out of state ID, you can still bring a piece of mail with your California address. If you cannot provide proof of current address and you are 18 or older you are eligible to receive an internet only card which you can NOT use to check out books.

  6. Step 6

    Once you have your application and ID you can bring it to the front circulation and desk and get yourself a library card and start checking out materials right away!

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your current address is on your ID.
