Do not publish your phone number, address or private email number when you sign on to social networking sites . Doing so will give a potential stalker more ways of contacting you with online and text and phone messages

If any of your social networking sites friends give you any sign that they are beginning to harass you in any way cease contact with them and remove them from the list of people who can see information about you on all of your social networking sites.

Step 4
Tell a close friend or family member about any problems you are having with online harassment on any of your social neworking sites. If it continues even after you have dropped the person from your social networking sites. For example if they have got a hold pf your phone or email address and continue to harass you. Inform your local police about this problem and save harassing text messages, voice mails or emails to share with them.
