Things You'll Need:
- Bank account information or on line pay account (such as PayPal)
-
Step 1
First things first - you need to find which poker site you would like to join. There are many out there, and doing a quick Google search on the internet will give you a full listing.
-
Step 2
After you have chosen your poker site, you'll need to find the register option.
-
Step 3
Within the register option, there will be the normal questions that you are asked each time you sign up for anything, such as first name, last name, etc. With a poker site, you will need to provide your real address and possibly a phone number.
-
Step 4
One final thing that is required is providing either a bank account, online pay account, or credit card. Some people are nervous about entering their bank account information on line, so if that is you, you might want to go down the road of setting up an online pay account, such as PayPal. There are others out there, and some online poker sites don't accept all online pay accounts, but in any case the poker site you sign up for will be very clear with what they do and don't accept. Most sites accept credit cards as well, but beware that many credit card companies will not allow you to use your credit card for online gambling. So don't be surprised that you valid credit card might be declined for this purpose.

Step 5
Once your account is set up, you just transfer money to your account (depending on the site you use and the method of payment, there may be a delay in getting real money to your account), you are ready to play!
