Here are easy steps for removing stains on any fabric.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Laundry detergent with enzymes
  • Vinegar
  • Dish washing detergent
  • Clean white rags
  1. Step 1

The easiest method is to wash the fabric through the washing machine. However, the laundry detergent must have enzymes. Go to any store that sells laundry detergent and select the one with enzymes mentioned in the label. Enzymes in the detergent attack stains better than detergent without enzymes. This reduces the need for repeated washes. For carpet, pour liquid detergent with enzymes on the stain and blot with a clean wet rag. Repeat until the stain is gone.

  2. Step 2

For an alternate cleaning method, pour vinegar to the surface and blot it with a clean white rag. Repeat until it is removed. For clothing and blankets, wash in the laundry to remove smell. For carpets, steam clean to eliminate the smell.

  3. Step 3

Another method is to use dish washing detergent. Apply full strength on the blood stain and blot with a clean wet rag. For clothing and blankets, wash in the laundry to complete the stain removal. For carpets, use the steam cleaner.
