How to Make Delicious Chicken Spaghetti
Make your spaghetti meat sauce a little different and by using chicken instead of beef and cheese instead of tomato sauce. This meal is easy to prepare on a hectic weeknight and, though unusual, is something most kids will like. This recipe feeds four to five people easily, or more if you add a salad or other side dish. Things You'll Need
- 1 pound spaghetti noodles
- 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans diced tomatoes with chili peppers, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 large box processed American cheese
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 stick butter
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- Milk

Place the chicken breasts in a large pot and add enough water to cover the chicken. Cook over medium heat 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is done.

Dice the peppers and the onion while the chicken is cooking. Set the vegetables aside.

Remove the chicken from the heat when it is finished cooking. Set the pot aside to cool.

Chop the cooled chicken into small pieces. Save the water from the cooking pot.

Put the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the green and red peppers and the onion. Saute until the onions are clear.

Lower the heat under the saucepan and add the 2 cans of diced tomatoes with chili peppers, the can of diced tomatoes and the cheese. Cook over low heat to melt the cheese.

Add 3 chicken bouillon cubes to the water used to cook the chicken breasts. Return the pot to the stove and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Add the box of spaghetti noodles to the boiling water and cook about 10 minutes.

Drain the cooked noodles. Add the noodles to the pot of cheese, peppers and onions. You can add a splash of milk if you want to thin the sauce a bit.

Stir everything well and then serve.
