Many people do not recycle, because they think it is too time consuming and messy. This article explains how to make recycling an easy, organized, time saving experience. Recycling today helps prevent others from having to clean-up your mess later.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Recycle bin (old boxes and crates, or trash cans)
  • Trash bags

Acquire the materials you will need first. Boxes, old crates, and old trash cans can be used to put different recycling materials in if you cannot afford a recycling bin.

  2. Step 2

Simply designate a place near a garage door, car port entrance, or side door to place a few containers that you can use to put your recycling materials in until you have enough to either put by the road (if your area has a recycling program), or take to a recycling center yourself.

  3. Step 3

If you have to take the materials yourself to the recycling location, then I advise to designate one morning a week to take them, or perhaps every two weeks if you do not have many materials; if you go ahead and designate a time, then you will be less tempted in the future into postponing recycling your materials and letting them pile-up.

Tips & Warnings
  • One place to find recycling bins that have a warranty and can be stylish is: www.therecyclebins.com
  • Unfortunately we do not get to choose who will do what in the future, so your children, your sister's children, or that sweet little girl on the corner may have to help clean up your mess. For the sake of yourself and your prosperity, please recycle. As long as you designate containers, a place to put recycling, and a time to do it, recycling can be as easy as tying your shoes and take about as long.
