When you take your puppy home he just wants to be with you all the time and its just not always convenient. Building a crate where your puppy is warm and safe will allow your puppy to feel like he is apart of your daily activities at home. This will keep the both of you happy and teach your puppy how to stay within a certain area and will make potty training much easier.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • large moving box
  • puppy potty training mat
  • blanket
  • puppy toy
  • scissors
  • markers
  • box tape
  1. Step 1

You will need to begin by tapping the bottom of your large box with box tape.

  2. Step 2

To give your puppy a place to look out cut out small shapes on two sides of the box(cutting out circles, squares, and rectangles are easy).

  3. Step 3

Then insert the potty training mat just incase there is an accident.

  4. Step 4

Place the blanket on top of the mat along with the puppies toys.

  5. Step 5

Finish by writing your puppies name on top of his crate.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to be mindful of your puppy. If you see him fidgeting or hear him crying this probably means he needs to go out. If you are traveling this will come down and be placed back up in seconds. Best of all your puppy will know this as home.
