When 65% of the original participants have been defeated start playing. Be patient and wait for a good hand. Then make your move.

Don't get caught chasing a poor hand. Poker pros thrive on this. If you're gonna bet and especially if you're gonna go all in make sure the hand is worth it.

Don't get too involved in one hand. You can always fold and play another hand. If you chase it too far you're out.
