Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- web access
-
Step 1
Check the facts. If you are writing about a suggested question it is all right if you are not an expert as long as you are willing to research and learn.
Even if you are an expert on the topic you still need to fact check.
You may have forgotten some important steps.
Use the many tools at your disposal. -
Step 2
Different names for similar things. Use the one that is most accurate.Don't just spell check your articles. Check to make sure you are using the correct terminology. Use the language of your article, not what you call it but how it is called for that particular use.
-
Step 3
Check your directions carefully.Keep the steps in order. If you get ahead of yourself go back and rearrange your article so it will be easy to understand. Don't confuse the reader.
-
Step 4
Don't even think about it.Remember when doing research it is alright to quote a source but not alright to use their words. You do not want to copy other writers words in any way.
-
Step 5
Make sure everything is in order. When you think you are finished go over your article step by step.
Spell check and check for grammatical errors.
When you are sure it is right, and all the information is in proper order then you are ready to publish.
The more articles you write the better you will get!

on 9/16/2009 Coming across a wonderful idea that has been poorly written takes some of the joy out of the find, doesn't it, machinc? Good tips, especially the double checking grammar part. Thanks! *****
