Three EASY steps to boiling the perfect hard-boiled egg. From boiling to peeling, you will boil eggs perfectly every time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Carefully set eggs in a pan. You may use as few as one or as many as a dozen. Cover the eggs with 1" of cold water.

  2. Step 2

Set the pan on the stove and heat until water comes to a rolling boil.
Cover with a lid and set off. Let sit for 15 - 20 min.

  3. Step 3

Dump water and fill pan with cold water. Leave the eggs in the pan. Let sit 15 - 20 min and dump the water. Your eggs are ready for peeling.
First crack eggs on a hard surface (counter, table). An egg has a space at one end between the egg and the shell. After cracking your egg, gently roll the egg in your hands to loosen the shell. Starting at the end with the airspace (it will sink in when touched) remove the shell and you will have a perfect hard-boiled egg.
