Things You'll Need

  • 8- or 9-inch pie pan
  • 8- or 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • Regular pie:
  • 16 ounces large-curd cottage cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Low-fat pie:
  • 16 ounces low-fat cottage cheese
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup Splenda

      Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

      Mix the cottage cheese, eggs or egg whites and vanilla or Splenda until well-blended.

      Poor into the pie shell. bake for one hour. Let cool before serving.

Tips & Warnings

  • For low fat/low calorie version, use low fat cottage cheese, 6 egg whites, and 1/2 cup Splenda, poor into pie pan, no pie crust.
