You will learn how easy it is to make a apple pie that everyone will want. Make sure you make two because one will not be enough

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Premade pie shells
  • 12 apples (6 gala 6 granny smith)
  • butter
  • sugar
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • flour
  1. Step 1

first clean all your apples and peel the skin. Once you have done this you will want to core your apples and slice them into bite size chunks.

  2. Step 2

Once all your apples have been chopped. Pull out your premade pie shells. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil to catch any spilage during the cooking process.

  3. Step 3

Take 3/4 c of sugar and sprinkle it over your apples. 1tsp of cinnamon, dash of nutmeg, tablespoon of butter, and tablespoon of flour. Mix throughly until all apples are coated in the mixture.

  4. Step 4

Fill your pie shell with the apple mixture. You will have to use your hands to pat the apples in tightly. Take the 2nd pie shell and gently loosen it from the pie plate, place it upside down on the apple mixture. Cut 4 slits in the top of the dough and rub a little butter over it. This will help it to brown

  5. Step 5

Your oven should be preheated to 375. It will take your pie exactly 1 hour to cook. When placing your pie into the oven keep the aluminum pie plate on top of the pie to keep the top from over cooking. The last 30min of your cooking time remove the pie plate to allow the top to brown.

  6. Step 6

Allow your pie to rest 30 min before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream and your favorite coffee. Enjoy!!!
