Step 1
Ask for the weight loss camp method and approach to weight loss.
You don't want to go to a fat camp that doesn't embrace a holistic, moderate approach to weight loss. If you go to a weight loss camp and they just starve you the entire time you're there, you are just going to go home and gain the weight back. Make sure that the weight loss camp you choose has a healthy and sustainable diet and exercise theory. -
Step 2
Get a price quote.
Fat loss camps can be very expensive. Before you sign up for the first camp you find, shop around and see what specials there may be out there. -
Step 3
Research their credentials.
Make sure that the weight loss camp you sign up for has a crew of credentialed staff. Fat camps should have staff consisting of personal trainers, nutritionist, and counselors. If they have these professionals on the roster, it's likely that you are going to see success at that camp. -
Step 4
Check the menus.
Menus should be full of fresh and healthy foods; make sure they don't consist of microwavable "weight loss" meals and diet soda! -
Step 5
Ask to see success stories.
A fat camp should be able to refer you to inspiring examples of past attendees weight loss success. If they boast a high success rate, you may want to give them a try. -
Step 6
Make sure you're going to feel comfortable in the environment.
Fat camp should be no walk in the park, but it also shouldn't be totally unpleasant, either. Make sure that the weight loss camp is something that you can grow to be comfortable in before you reserve a slot.
