Of course you have to have a water source (pond, lake, etc.)and ducks or geese that visit your home from time to time, but to keep them around to enjoy there it's just a simple step. Supply food for them to enjoy.
I have ducks that stay most of the year and geese that come in and stay until their young have hatched and are ready to fly, they also come back in late fall or early winter when they are headed south for the winter.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Food (Hen Scratch, Cracked Corn, Wild Bird Food)
  • Bucket
  1. Step 1

Buy, Hen Scratch, Wild Bird Food and/or Cracked Corn from your local feed dealer.

  2. Step 2

I put out about 3/4 of a gallon of feed each day.

  3. Step 3

You can just pour this on the ground in a pile, but I find the ducks and/or geese tend to fight over it. I prefer to spread it out in a long line or sometimes I put the feed in mutiple piles to cut down on fighting.

  4. Step 4

Sit back and enjoy watching your wildlife.
