Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A desire to improve your life
  1. Step 1

Be sure to get a sufficient amount of rest each day. Work to maintain a well balanced schedule for sleeping. Try to go to sleep around the same time each night if possible. As a general rule, when you have received enough sleep your body will wake up naturally. That means without that annoying buzzer sounding off.

  2. Step 2

Eat right! Avoid poor eating habits. This means taking time to actually sit down and eat a healthy meal. People who take time away from working or tasks to eat lunch are much less stressed throughout the day. Avoid overeating. Do not eat standing up, take a seat, even if it's only for 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Set up a regular routine of exercise. Most people just don't have the time to exercise, but then again, most people today have a lot of stress also. Try taking a walk with a friend for 30 minutes outside if possible. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the nature around you.

  4. Step 4

If you have something that is worrying you, talk to a friend or family member about it. Find someone you feel comfortable with and who listens well. In this way you can take turns unloading your concerns and fears. This will provide a huge relief.

  5. Step 5

You need to set aside some time for yourself. Plan out something that you will enjoy doing just for yourself. Get a massage, go to the beach, take in a movie, or read a book. Whatever it is that you just don't get to do and are always thinking about. Have some fun and relax.
