Step 1
Hit the road running.
Instead of feeling like a rat on a wheel spending hours on a treadmill, why not hit the road for a run (or a walk, depending on your fitness level). Use MapMyRun.com if you want to plan a running route or find out the distance of your run. This covers the cardio portion of your home boot camp workout. -
Step 2
Buy some dumbbells.
Dumbbells are essential to a home boot camp and cut out the need for all of the expensive, bulky machines found at the gym. A set of dumbbells, correctly used, should cover all of your strength training needs for an entire at home workout. -
Step 3
Use your body weight.
Again, most exercises that are found in a boot camp workout use the weight of your body and the exercises can be done in the comfort of your living room. -
Step 4
Buy a Bosu Ball.
These giant bouncing balls may be reminiscent of your childhood toys but they are also excellent for home workouts and boot camp style exercises. They can be used for strength training, balance, and flexibility. Be sure and add one of these versatile tools to your boot camp arterial.
