    Pillowcase

MEASURE. Go to the hall and size up the chair to make sure an oversized pillow case will fit over it. Try using fabrics that stretch and give a little like satin, fleece, or a cotton. Buy the largest pillow case size possible.

  2. Step 2

OPTION 2. If pillow cases don't fit or work then try using a plain white small cotton or satin table cloth or even a small sheet.

  3. Step 3
    Spandex

OPTION 3. Or use any fabric you want just make sure you get it cut to the correct length, usually 3 inches from the bottom of the chair for a full slip cover or enough to cover the whole backside of the chair for half slips. Try Spandex.

  4. Step 4
    SASH or RIBBON
    SASH or RIBBON

THE RIBBON or SASH. This is what your going to use to tie the cover to the chair. Pick whatever color coordinates with your wedding. Full slips should tie the SASH or RIBBON around the back base of the chair to give it a form fitting look. Half slips should tie it in the same place or about halfway up the back side of the chair. The bow goes in the back of the chair for both covers.

  5. Step 5

RENT SLIPS. If you price all this and find it exceeds your budget then simply rent them from the hall or a company. The going rate is $1.50-5.00 a slip depending on the design.

  6. Step 6

RESALE SHOPS. Try finding some used slips at a wedding retail shop. Try and make them work with your wedding if possible. This will save you a lot of time and money. If you make your own after the wedding or shower resell them yourself using the internet, resale shops, bulletin boards, and so on.
