Have you ever felt an earache or sinus infection coming on and thought, oh no, a trip to the doctor and antibiotics? I personally, do not like to take any medications and am always looking for a natural remedy. Here is a natural and safe alternative made with items you already have at home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Medicine dropper, towel, measuring spoons, rubbing alcohol distilled white vinegar, small bowl or small bottle with lid.
  1. Step 1

With your measuring spoons combine equal parts rubbing alcohol and distilled white vinegar in a small bowl. I usually use 1 tbsp of each. Stir together.

  2. Step 2

Fill your medicine dropper or small spoon with liquid and place 2 drops in your right ear. Lay on your left side for about 2-5 minutes then turn your head over onto your towel to drain.

  3. Step 3

Repeat Step 2 this time placing drops in your left ear and lying down on your right side.

  4. Step 4

    Place remainder in airtight container.

  5. Step 5

I would recommend doing this 2 times a day. If earache persists more than a couple of days your infection might be more severe and require a doctor's attention.

Tips & Warnings
  • I washed out a small medicine bottle with dropper (many aromatherapy and herbal items are sold in this type of bottle) and placed the liquid in here so it is always available when I need it.
  • I am not a pharmacist or a doctor, and this may not work for everyone; however,
  • I have recommended this to many friends and all have had success.
