This home made palm tree fertilizer will greatly enhance the beauty and growth rate of palms in your landscape. Why wait years to see that 3 to 5 gallon palm you've planted start to produce a beautiful canopy. Follow the simple recipe and you will be amazed at the results. This fertilizer is naturally high in magnesium and sulfur which promotes growth, strengthen the plant, and add to the color

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 can of beer
  • 1 cup of Epsom salts
  • 1/4 cup of ammonia
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 small container
  1. Step 1

    Mix the following ingredients in a small container:
    1/2 can of beer (refresh yourself with the other half)
    1 cup of Epsom salts
    1/4 cup of ammonia
    1 cup of water

    Mix thoroughly to dissolve the Epsom salts prior to use

  2. Step 2

    Add 1 ounce of this mixture per gallon of water. Apply 1 gallon of the fertilizer to each palm tree every 2 weeks.

    Refrigerate any of the unused fertilizer for future use.

  3. Step 3

    Enjoy the amazing results. Your palm will exhibit extremely fast growth rate and a healthy canopy

on 1/27/2010 Thank you. I just found out the brown flecks on my palm is because of magnesium deficiency. It's an older palm, but I'm going to try this mixture.
