Step 1
Ask yourself why you suspect your partner of cheating. If you're already thinking about cheating, there is a higher chance that it is going on. Has your partner cheated in the past? If so, there is a much higher chance they are cheating on you
-
Step 2
There are signs. Look for sudden overcompensation in the relationship. Is your husband suddenly giving you flowers all the time? This could be a sign of guilt. If you notice something like this, be direct and ask if something is going on.
-
Step 3
Look for changes in your partners routine. If they were not concerned with appearance before, are they suddenly dressing well? Is he saying things like "I need time to myself", or does he make up excuses to spend time away from you?
-
Step 4
Has he been criticizing you more? When a partner cheats, they often try to deflect guilt by finding fault with their significant other. This provides a justification in their mind for their cheating behavior.
-
Step 5
Is he suddenly much less -- or more -- interested in sex? Drastic changes in your sex routine can be a sign of cheating.
-
Step 6
Look for other telltale signs. Has your partner put a lot of mileage on the car lately? Are there receipts from restaurants that you haven't been to? Are there unfamiliar charges to his bank account?
