This is a fun game for a group of people. I learned it at summer camp and it kept us occupied for quite a while. It's like musical chairs with spoons and cards.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A deck of cards
  • One less spoon than number of players
  1. Step 1

3-10 players can play this game. The more the merrier. Deal four cards to each player. The rest of the cards are placed face down to the right of the dealer. The spoons are placed in the center where everyone can reach them.

  2. Step 2

The dealer takes one card and tries to get four of a kind. The dealer then places one of the five cards face down to his or her left.

  3. Step 3

The person to the left of the dealer then picks up the card the dealer placed face down and tries to get four of a kind and discards a card to his or her left. Everyone continues this all at the same time. Going fast helps add confusion to the game.

  4. Step 4

Once a player has managed to get four of a kind, that player takes a spoon, slowly or quickly, obviously or not.

  5. Step 5

Once one person has taken a spoon, then anyone can take a spoon. The person left without a spoon loses the round.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some people get so involved with the cards, they forget about the spoons and some people will actually hang the spoons off the end of their noses to get the player's attention.
