Things You'll Need:
- A few very energetic friends
- An easel for presentations
- A location to have a small get together. (someone's living room)
-
Step 1
You need to find seven (7) people to start this. Try to get people who are energetic and that know a lot of people. Ones that will know a good opportunity when they see it and jump on it.
-
Step 2
Once you find your seven friends then your ready to start. So lets cut to the chase. Yes, I suppose you could call this multi-level marketing. However, you will probably not see anything like this any where. This takes 15 people, from start to finish. That is it. 15. No more, no less. This is short and sweet. So here is how to do it. Step 3
This is how you start a "pot". These seven people, including yourself, start things off. It does not cost these seven people to get their position (it has to start some where..). Now, look at the bottom row of friends (numbers 4,5,6 and 7). These are the people who are the key to your success. Each one of the four people on the bottom row are responsible for filling two (2) positions underneath them. The prerequisite's are simple. 1. Each friend they find to fill each position MUST be able to fill two (2) positions underneath themselves. It is VERY important that each position sold is able to fill two (2) positions under them. 2. Each friend is able to afford to buy the position available. And that's it. If those two (2) prerequisite's can not be met by each and every person, they should not be allowed to participate. The success of this venture depends on those two things. This is called the friendship network for a reason. It is friends helping friends. Just one person who might not be able to fill both positions under themselves will kill the pot. Causing progression to stop, and therefore causing it to fail and people to lose money. Step 4
For instance, "Friend 3" MUST be able fill BOTH positions under him/her. And each of those two (2) MUST be able to fill two (2) positions under themselves and so on.
-
Step 5
OK so here is where we are at. When each of the bottom eight (8) positions are filled, the person in the #1 position is paid in full and "rolls off". The pot splits to form 2 separate pots. Click on this image to see an example of a completed pot and how that works. (don't let the dollar amounts in this example scare you. Since YOU are starting this network, the "buy in" price is set by YOU. Read more about the "buy in" price in the "tip's" section below.).
-
Step 6
The pot is full and has run it's course. You got paid and rolled off the top position. The pot "split's" and now everyone moves up one (1) position. "Friend 1" and "Friend 2" (previously in positions #2 and #3) are now in position #1 on their own separate pot (as shown in this image).
-
Step 7
This is how you structure the pot after it splits.
-
Step 8
Now you start over at step number 1 and repeat the process.
-
Step 9
The person on the top (or in the #1 position) can take over control of his/her pot. However, being this is based on a large network of friends, and that you started the network, you should not back down from being the leader/organizer. If you are good about getting people excited and you have lots of energy you will simply be amazed at how big and fast this catches on. When I first learned of this (years ago), I was invited to a friends house for this "meeting" of people who I knew. There were 17 people plus 2 guys who were the "speakers", if you will. I really wasn't in to it. I figured that this was some scam and honestly didn't really even want to be there at all. But let me tell you, these two dudes could work a crowd. They were very dramatic. They got the person who was on top of the pot up in front of everyone. Then called each participant up one at time and had everyone hollering out loud as they counted out 15 one hundred dollar bills, per person, one at time. I sat there, astounded, as I watched a good friend of mine make $12,000 ..cash. Then they flipped over the paper on the easel to draw out the split of the pot. One of the two newly split pots almost filled up that very night but the other one didn't get a single person. That was sort of disheartening. But even though, I had a pretty good time. They announced where the next meeting would be the following week (normally they were held at the person in the #1 position's home). Well, so I decided to go check it out once more. I was curious to see what had transpired with the pot that no one got on. I just knew that it wasn't going to be good. When I got there, there were more than 40 people. That pot that no one got on.. had split twice in less than 7 days. The other one split once. That was a total 3 people who I watched get paid $12,000 each and boy they raised the roof hollering out loud counting them $100 bills. It got so big, so fast, that soon meetings were being held outdoors.
