Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup (8 ounces) low fat sour cream or low fat yogurt
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

First off I want to say even though this is a fabulous sauce for vegetables, like broccoli and cauliflower. It is also very good drizzled over potatoes and makes a fine dipping sauce for steak, instead of steak sauce. Sometimes you just want something different than the same old thing. I served this sauce with the steak we had for our 4th of July barbecue this year and it was a big hit. The main purpose for my writing this is because of the earlier article I wrote, "How to Make a Low-Fat Version of Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches."

Step 2
Now that I have finished explaining myself, let's get on to more important things. First we start off with 1 cup of low-fat sour cream or low-fat plain yogurt. I like sour cream the better of the two, because it gives the recipe a little extra zing. Also if you don't need to watch your weight, the regular sour cream works well too. 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

In a small stainless steel saucepan put in all the ingredients, mix well to combine. Cook over medium-low heat until cooked through. Serve immediately, if you are using the sauce for drizzling over vegetables or as a dipping sauce for steak. If you are using as a base for the Arby's Horsey sauce, it will have to cool down before it can be incorporated with the other ingredients. You will need to store it into the refrigerator until you want to use it. You will only need to use 3 tablespoons if you are making the Arby's Horsey Sauce, but the Horseradish Dipping Sauce makes 1 cup. That is a lot of extra dipping!
