I hope this guide will assist you in installing aftermarket speakers in your 1997 Acura CL

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First, remove the back seat bottom cusion. There are two clips underneath the cusion, just pull towards the front of the car and wallah! There is also a 10m bolt on the driver's side, near the middle of the car, in between the bottom and back cusions. Take the bottom cusion out.

  2. Step 2

Next, remove the back cusion, there's another
10m opposite of the one already removed, then push the
cusion up to release it. Take the back cusion out. Use a
pry tool or clip remover and take off the driver and
passanger door sills. Extract a 10m bolt from each bottom
side panel (driver and passenger sides). Pull on the tray/handle to help unclip it.

  3. Step 3

Next, Unclip the upper C pillar panels. Remove 3 clips securing
the rear deck. Move into the trunk, unplug the third brake
light and remove two 8m nuts holding the light in. Go back
inside and remove the light and then the rear deck. Now you are ready to install your speakers. For reassembly follow these steps in reverse order.
