How to Make Flavored Vodka Jell-O Shots
Party guests love seeing a tray of Jell-O shots. Start with a basic recipe and then create your own combinations by mixing and matching flavored vodka with different kinds of gelatin. For example, pair vanilla vodka with strawberry Jell-O or raspberry vodka with a lemon flavor. This recipe makes 28 to 32 shots. To make the party last longer and reduce the risk of overdrinking, cut the amount of vodka and replace with more cold water. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need

- 3/4 cup cold water
- 1 1/4 cups flavored vodka, chilled
- Glass mixing bowl

Instructions

1
Bring water to a boil. Boil more than 2 cups since some of the water evaporates. Carefully measure the 2 cups after it's boiled.
-
2
Put the gelatin into a mixing bowl and pour the boiling water over it.
-
-
3
Stir until the powder is dissolved into the water. Add the cold water and cold vodka.
-
4
Divide the solution into shot glasses or paper cups. You can lightly spray the bottoms of the shot glasses with cooking spray to help the shot release from the glass easier.
-
5
Put the shots on a tray and place them in the refrigerator. Since there's alcohol in them, it will take longer to congeal than the package says. Allow at least five hours in the refrigerator.
