The Palm Pilot is an electronic device produced by Palm. It is a personal data assistant (PDA) aimed at keeping track of a user's personal data quickly and efficiently. Information can be sent from a computer to a Palm Pilot and vice versa via the included USB cable. If you want to delete calendar data from your Palm Pilot, you need only to follow these few simple steps.

  1. Step 1

Assuming you're using a PC, click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Once there, double click on the icon for your "C" drive. This is the main hard drive of your computer where all important programs and system data is stored.

  2. Step 2

Double-click on the folder "Program Files." Once there, search for and double-click on the "Palm" folder.

  3. Step 3

Double-click on the folder named after your Palm Pilot user name.

  4. Step 4

Navigate to the folder that contains the calendar information for your Palm Pilot. Depending on which version of the Palm Desktop Software you're using, this folder will either be named "Calendar" or "Datebook." Double click on it to open the folder. Delete the file that reads either "Calendar.dat" or "Datebook.dat."

  5. Step 5

Open the Palm Desktop software installed on your computer. Connect your Palm Pilot to your computer via the USB cable and click the "Sync" button in the Palm software window. This will sync your device to your computer and delete the calendar data from the Palm Pilot.
