How to Play Guitar Hero Online on Digg Games
Digg.com is a online database that lets users submit links to media they find particularly interesting. Users then rate each linked item by giving a thumbs up or down. Digg.com has a search engine specifically for finding online games. One of these games is an altered online version of the popular Guitar Hero games, called Amped Up.

Find the game by entering "guitar hero flash game" in the search bar at digg.com/playable_web_games and clicking on Search. Then click on the game link that appears to start.

Choose a song and difficulty level after you have begun the game. Select "Lips of an Angel" if you are a beginner. Choose a character for play.

Select whether you have a webcam in the next screen. If you do have a webcam, select yes, and the website will access it for you. Press the space bar to take a picture of your face with your webcam and again to represent your "loser face" and again for your "rocker face."

Select "Begin" to play. A pattern of arrows will appear through a diagram of arrows pointing left, down, and right. These represent your arrow pad on your keyboard. As the arrows pass through their alloted arrow, hold down the same arrow on your keyboard and press the spacebar to play the lead guitar part of the playing song. Complete the entire game in this way.

After you have mastered "Lips of an Angel," go back to the main screen to start over with the harder levels. Pick the keyboard up and hold it like a guitar as you play the game to add a level of difficulty.

Tips & Warnings
Errors in the game switch the direction of the left and right arrows from time to time. In these circumstances, the left arrow on your keypad plays for the left arrow in the game. Make accommodations for these errors should they arise, or restart the game if necessary.
