Designing flashy cars has been a common pastime, particularly among young males, for years, and has grown more popular in recent years with the popularity of movies like "The Fast and the Furious" and games like the "Need for Speed" series. For those who aren't artistically inclined but still wish to come up with their own car designs, Create-a-Ride offers the opportunity, as well as a minigame to test your drag-racing abilities.

Visit the Create-a-Ride website.

Change your car model by using the arrows in the lower left corner of the game window.

Change your car's parts using the arrows running down the right side of the game window.

Raise or lower the windows by clicking the small window icon at the bottom of the righthand bar.

Choose a car driver by clicking the small person at the bottom of the righthand bar.

Add neon to your car by clicking on the "N" icon at the bottom of the righthand bar.
Drag Racing

Click on the arrows labeled "Backdrop" until you are at the Drag Strip.

Click the "Start" button.

Press the space bar when the lights turn green.

Try to score as close to .500 as possible, as that is a perfect score.
