How to Permanently Block a Website
The content adviser in the Internet Explorer allows you to control content accessible on the Internet. Specifically, it can permanently block access to a particular website. One reason for website blocking is preventing children from navigating inappropriate content. Enabling the content adviser is a one-time procedure.

Log in to a user account in Windows Vista or XP. Open Internet Explorer.

Click "Tools," then "Internet Options" and select the tab "Content."

Click "Settings" under "Content Advisor." Type the supervisor password (see Section 2) and click "OK."

Select the tab "Approved Sites" in the content adviser window.

Type the address of a website you want to block and click "Never." Click "OK." Then, click "OK" again to close the window.

Log in to a user account in Windows Vista or XP. Open Internet Explorer.

Click "Tools," then "Internet Options" and select the tab "Content."

Click "Enable" under "Content Advisor" and select the tab "General."

Click "Create Password." Type any string in the password field, then re-type it in the field "Confirm password." Provide a password hint and click "OK." It creates a supervisor password for the content adviser.

Check the box "Users can see websites that have no rating" and uncheck the box "Supervisor can type a password ..." under user options.

Click "OK" to enable the content adviser.
