How to Soft Reset XV 6800
The XV6800 is a smart phone that has many functions: address book, calendar, email, browser and installed mobile applications, in addition to serving as a mobile phone. Sometimes the number of running applications or faulty data may cause the device to freeze, requiring a reset because the buttons are not registering with the smart phone system. A soft reset is the preferred first option to preserve the data and applications on the device.

Remove the stylus from the device and position the device so that you are looking at the mini-USB port (where you connect the data port or power adapter) and the screen is facing up.

Use the tip of the stylus to press and hold the small circular button located to the left of the mini-USB port and below the micro SD card slot.

Verify that the screen turns off and on indicating that the device is resetting.
