Have you ever wanted to clean the gunk from the outside of your gutters? You were not sure what to use to remove the green or brown residue? Well, worry no more as there is a easy, simple and cheap solution.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • spic and span
  • bleach
  • water
  • bucket or spray bottle
  • ladder
  • rubber gloves/safety glasses
  • rags
  1. Step 1

First, get a bucket or spray bottle of your choice and mix one part spic and span to one part bleach to 3 parts water. Be careful with the bleach and be sure to use rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling. Now mix the solution together in the container.

  2. Step 2

Next, get your ladder in place and if using a spray bottle with the solution, spray on the gutter. If using a rag, dip the rag in the solution (using rubber gloves of course) and wipe down the gutter. Let the solution set on the gutter for 5-10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Now, using a rag or other cloth of your choice, dip into the solution once again and wipe the gutter a second time...Amazing, the green or brown residue is removed! Clean all your gutters in this manner to get that new look once again!

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to initially wipe down the gutter with plenty of solution. Wait 5-10 minutes and wipe again to get the best effect.
  • Be sure to use rubber gloves and safety glasses (splashing) with bleach and the solution.
