Tips & Warnings
Sending an eCheck will delay processing and shipment of your order by up to four days. Sellers may prefer you send an eCheck even though it takes longer to process because there is a cap on the fee a seller pays for accepting an eCheck, which is currently $5 (in July 2009). To accept an instant PayPal money transfer, the seller pays a fee of almost 3 percent of the sales price. So a seller shipping a $500 laptop pays a PayPal fee of almost $15. There is a financial incentive for a seller to take eCheck.
