      Create a new business contact. Click on the business contact manager menu button. On the drop-down menu, click the business contact option. Click "New" to start a blank form. From this point, a screen will appear allowing you to enter the name, company, telephone number, email address and physical address of your business contact.

      Link outgoing and incoming email messages with the proper business contact. After you complete all the fields for your new business contact, click the email auto link button on the menu bar. A display screen with a check box, your business contact's email address, name and company will appear. Click the check box to link the business contact with its email messages.

      Link your business contact with its proper account. This can help you look at a business contact's payment history, purchases made, and other account information. While in your business contact data input screen, click the account button. Type the name of the account in the search box or scroll down to the business contact's company name. Highlight the company name, click on the link-to button. Hit "OK."

      Indicate how you met your business contact. In the section titled "Source Information," indicate special areas of interest your business contact may have. Classify each contact as a lead, rate the business contact, select the status of the contact or assign it to another employee.

      Link your business contact with its appointment history, and other relevant documents. Create special reminders of birthday's, and other important events.
