How Can I Make an Online Photo Album?

Photo albums are keepsakes that can be handed down from one generation to the next. Online photo albums are more popular than ever, offering users a chance to store precious photos online, where they can be preserved and shared with other family members and friends in a number of ways. Learn how you can make your own online photo album to enjoy and share with others.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Choose your online photo album service. There are several to choose from, each offering different services. Photobucket is the most versatile of the bunch, and it's free (see Resources). Sign up for an account.

  2. Step 2

    Log in to your account with a user name and password, created during the signup process, and upload your pictures.Photobucket will scan your hard drive for all image files and display them for you, then you simply check the photos you want to upload to the server. Photobucket uploads all of the images immediately.

  3. Step 3

    Create your first photo album using the menu bar at the top of the page. Select group albums and then "Create Group Album." You can create as many albums as you want, each with different pictures.

  4. Step 4

    Share your pictures by using code provided on the website to email a link, embed pictures, or invite friends and family to view your online album. You can create a slide show of your album by clicking the "Slideshow" option, then email your slideshow to anyone you choose.
