Step 1
The first things you need to consider are your daily routines! Kids need to be active and not sit around and watch a television all day. Everyone knows the more active you are the more tired you get at the end of the day! Same for kids!

Step 2
I start by having my kids nap during the day at the same time! When my youngest goes to sleep around 1, I always get my son to lay on the couch. That way it slows him down and he eventually drifts off and takes a nap while she does.

Step 3
Then in the evening when I am ready for bed I give them both their baths and give them a little television time or read them a book of their choice.

Step 4
Finally they are fast asleep and I can get myself ready for a good nights rest as well!
