Blast Billiards is an online Flash game of solitaire pool. Though easy to learn, winning can be quite difficult, making for an entertaining and challenging game.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Flash Player
  • a mouse
  1. Step 1

Go to a web site that has Blast Billiards available. BlastBilliards.com is the official site, though many other Flash game web sites also have it. If you're at the official web site, you'll notice a number of different variations and sequels to the game, listed on the homepage. Though each one is different in some way, they all feature the same basic gameplay.

  2. Step 2

Click on the game you wish to play. For this tutorial, we'll be using Original Blast Billiards. A screen will come up prompting you to either log in or play as a guest. Choose one or the other, and the game will load. After a while, the starting screen will appear. Click "Start" to play.

  3. Step 3

The main game window is a billiards table, with a cue ball and six bombs on it. The goal of the game is to hit each of the bombs into the pockets before the time runs out (100 seconds in this version). To aim, hold your cursor over the bomb you wish to shoot at and hold down the mouse button. The longer you hold down, the harder the cue will strike the cue ball once you release it.

  4. Step 4

Many times you will not be able to hit a bomb directly into a pocket. In this case, you can aim slightly to one side and strike the bomb a glancing blow. This enables you to shoot in directions you wouldn't otherwise be able to by hitting a bomb directly.

  5. Step 5

When you have completed the level, you will be taken to the next. If you fail to pocket all the bombs before the time runs out, or you accidentally pocket the cue ball, the table will explode. You'll then be given the chance to enter your score on the scoreboard.

Tips & Warnings
  • With practice, you'll be able to hit the balls more accurately, and predict where they will go.
