Things You'll Need:
- Swimmming Pool/ocean
- Proper bathing suit
- Lather in sun tan lotion
- Your lovely self

Step 1
Make sure you have all the things you need, if you don't you are already not doing this stroke correctly.

Step 2
Submerse yourself in the water. You can get in the water anytime you want. The water could be warm, cold, or the temperature you want. Always make sure that someone knows where you are at all times, if a child is under the age of 12.

Step 3
With both arms stretched out in front of you kick off in a "V" motion in the water while kicking your legs. You will get the hang of this. Practice the motion if you don't think you feel comfortable with it yet can stand and practice the stroke vertically in or out of the water.
