Step 1
If you drink coffee, you’re in luck, instead of dumping those old coffee grinds, place them around your hydrangea plant on a regular basis, then cover the coffee grinds with pine needles. You may be able to go to a local coffee shop and ask them to save their old used coffee grinds; they may go for this because it help cut down on the waste/trash in the store.

Step 2
You can also start dumping your old pickle juice. This works for my grandmother, she used to faithfully do this and has the prettiest hydrangea plants I have ever seen.
-
Step 3
You can also try the Home Depot/Lowes way, they measure the PH of the plants and add aluminum sulfate to change and make the hydrangeas bluer. You can buy this sulfate at both the above mentioned stores.

Step 4
Lastly try using sulfur. It is safer than aluminum sulfate and wont burn up the plants roots.
